AGRAGAMI COMPOSITE P U COLLEGE


This College, located at Jakkur Campus, has been recognized by the Pre-University Board, Government of Karnataka with all courses as per Pre-University Board rules. In this arrangement, the students interact with the students of Agragami Academic College and are given exclusive opportunity to expand their horizons of Knowledge ny multidimensional ways.

We provide ample opportunities for the students to get deeper and diverse insight in variety of topics through seminars and discussions. We make sure that they understand concepts fully though assignments and practice-oriented teaching in various technology domains. We also have special approach for enriching their knowledge through inter-class and intra-class competitions in cultural and sports activities Our students have won many trophies and prizes in state, national and international level competitions.


CERTIFICATION


Agragami Institute od Management and Technology is a training centre for Bharathiar University and offers face-to-face, full time studies , where you will be sharing the knowledge of our very professional faculty members that have the real, hands on experience in addition to theoretical knowledge.

The Bharathiar University was established at Coimbatore by the Government of Tamilnadu in February 1982, under the provision of the Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Act 1 of 1982). The Postgraduate Centre of the University of Madras, which was functioning in Coimbatore before 1982 formed the core of the Bharathiar University. In May 1985, the University received the recognition from University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi for the purpose of grants.


The University named after the great national poet Subramania Bharathi is enshrined with the motto "Educate to Elevate". At the University, every effort is harnessed to realize his dream of making educational institutions as temples of learning. It is the aim of the University to participate in the task of inculcating necessary Knowledge, Skills and Creative Attitudes and Values among the youth of the country, to contribute more effectively towards establishing an equitable social and economic and secular ideal of our nation.

COURSES OFFERED

Karnataka SSLC Examination pass or its equivalent and recognized by Government of Karnataka. Preference is given to merit and rural based students. In Pre-University course there are two parts. Part-I consists of Languages and Part-II compromises of optional subjects as detailed below..

I Languages: Kannada, Hindi and Sanskrit


II Languages: English

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

  • Documents to be submitted during admission:
    • Application form dully filled.
    • S.S.LC. Marks card.
    • Transfer Certificate.
    • Eligibility certificate for Non S.S.L.C. Candidates issued by PUC education department.
    • Character certificate issued by the institution last studied.
    • Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/BCM.
    • Rural study certificate.
    • Migration certificate from their respective states.
    • Three Passport size photos.
  • Parent/Guardian must accompany the candidate for admission
  • Admission timings: 9am – 4 pm
  • Fee can be paid in Cash/Cheque or DD & can be submitted in favour of “JCKECT' Payable at Bangalore.
  • Fee once paid will not be refunded.
  • Separate Fees is collected for Books, Uniform, Examination etc.,

FACILITIES

Library

  • Latest books in Science, Business, Management and Commerce decipline's have been added to the library. Reference books are also provided. Issue of library books is regulated through library cards issued by librarian. If the borrowed books are not returned within prescribed date, a fine of 50 paise per day will be levied for one week. If the books are not returned even with in the week, the books will not be taken back and the student will have to pay three times the cost of the book. Reading room facilities are provided to the students with daily news papers, weekly and monthly magazines and other important journals.

Laboratories

  • Well equipped laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics. Microbiology, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science have been provided.
